Effect of Different Nethouses on the Incidence of Insect on Vegetable Crops

In this study, the effects of different types nethouses viz., NH1, NH2, and NH3, were investigated at research farm Olericulture Division, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) from Sep 2021 to Mar 2022 compared control (open field) in terms incidence white fly, aphid, leaf miners, mites, eggplant shoot fruit borer (ESFB). This study included six vegetables 1) Tomato, 2) Eggplant, 3) Sweet pepper, 4) Broccoli, 5) Cucumber; 6) Okra, as well four nethouse treatments: UV stabilized transparent polyethylene film with 60 mesh insect net along green shade (NH1); (NH2); (NH3); Open field infestation ESFB was observed under open conditions followed by NH1 conditions, while lower NH2 NH3 for all vegetables. From we found use a provided negative effect on presence notorious insects So, type protected will provide new dimension producing safe quality Bangladesh.
